"What a wonderful experience I had on the 14 Day Shrines of Italy Pilgrimage with Visitation Pilgrimages and Tours, Inc. So many cherished memories with my 21-year-old daughter as we experienced the beauty of numerous cities and significant landscapes throughout Italy.

The pilgrimage consisted of 45 pilgrims transported on one luxury bus to each destination allowing for

the opportunity to get to know fellow pilgrims if choose resulting in many new friendships whom I still

correspond with six years later. The scenery between destinations was so diverse and breathtaking

throughout the boot of Italy surrounded by snowcapped mountains, greenery and oceanic views of the

Sea.

All hotel accommodations were upscale and high quality inclusive of healthy full breakfast options in

small groups and very fine dinners together with all pilgrims each evening. Pilgrims had a few hours of

free time for lunch of their choice and further exploration of favorite sites in given area.

Such a quaint experience overall amidst taking in all that each city had to offer. Linda facilitated local

experts from various urban areas to spend the day with us sharing their insights to beautiful cities.

Wonderful balance between seeing physical architecture, beauty in art and murals of each region and

spiritual reflection.

Linda’s coordination of all planning allowed pilgrims to relax and seize the day stress free which is the

The first experience with Visitation Pilgrimages, was a trip to Israel. It was the most memorable

of my life. There are several reasons that Visitation Pilgrimage offers the best experience. First, is Linda

Enfield herself. She personally manages every aspect of the trip and selects the best Spiritual Directors,

usually the Franciscan Friars of the Eternal Word. Second, the cost of the trip. Everything is included

from taxes, transfer fees, and gratuities. If you are on a budget this will be helpful. Third, Mass everyday

at all the holy sites and usually adoration time.

I will conclude with a comment from a pilgrim on my last trip. She said: “My friends told me I

would be bored. Instead I can’t wait to tell them of all the fun we had. We laughed, we cried, we prayed,

and we grew in our faith.”
